A physician's case for a new kind of architecture.
I qualified in medicine from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 2000 and spent two decades in clinical practice before turning my attention to a question clinical medicine alone couldn't answer: what happens, biologically, in the spaces where we spend most of our lives?
That question is the foundation of everything I do now. My clinical background isn't a separate service — it's the reason Biological Coherence in Architecture is grounded in physiology rather than aesthetics: circadian biology, psychoneuroimmunology, environmental toxicology, and two decades of watching how environment shows up in the body.
Selected essays on biology, rhythm, and the built environment.
